Crystal Reports is a powerful report writer that creates meaningful, real-time reports quickly and easily. Out-of-the-box reports are available along with the ability to modify them to suit specific business needs. Wizards can walk users through the necessary steps to modify a report with ease. To create a report from scratch, more wizards (called Experts) guide users through the process from start to finish. Reports can be run at pre-determined times, even unattended. Using the open database connectivity (ODBC) driver, Crystal Reports has direct access to MAS 90 and MAS 200 data. The Crystal Reports design engine is also fully integrated into MAS 90 and MAS 200 form printing.

This version of FRx comes bundled with the MAS 90 and MAS 200 General Ledger modules, and is a full-featured, graphical reporting tool. The ability to specify row and column formats independently maximizes the flexibility of report formats. Reports created with this module can be printed, exported to an Excel worksheet, distributed via e-mail or analyzed further with drill down features to examine details. Report formats can be combined with a custom-reporting tree matching the company's business chart of accounts structure, creating customized reports that detail almost any aspect of a business. FRx Desktop also provides multi-company consolidation and robust security.

This optional module uses Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) technology to deliver data from MAS 90 and MAS 200 General Ledger module to a spreadsheet document, such as Lotus 1-2-3 or Microsoft Excel. The data migration is easy due to an automatic link to the General Ledger using the hotlink feature in the spreadsheet, or hotlink cells in spreadsheet that tie into any data item in General Ledger. This linkage provides instant, real-time financial information in the spreadsheet and saves time by eliminating the rekeying of data the your spreadsheet.
